Slightly Sheepish, I Suppose…

Alright, I apologise for the title but what else can you say really?
I refer of course to the article doing the rounds at the moment which concerns the story of a Chinese farmer who was amazed to find one of his sheep had given birth… to a dog.

‘Ahhh..’ I hear you all breath… swiftly followed (I hope) by a chorus of ‘What the…??
Yeah well… thats what I thought too. You see, the problem with this kind of story is in the detail – and the first detail I noted was that the reporter didnt put his or her name to it. Can’t really blame them, neither would I. Another thing was that it clearly states that experts have said that the interbreeding between two very different species (as illustrated here) is impossible.
The other thing of course is that you don’t really need to be an expert in anything to tell this story is a load of hokum.
If I’m wrong, I’ll apologise – honest I will… But really, come on! we have DNA testing these days… wheres the proof?
Until such proof is forthcoming, I’ll leave you with a picture of the little fella – blimey he’s cute though… I’d call him Baaaa rney
