Roswellian mularky again again.

Silly season is upon us. It seems that the good ole boys in the money making department of the UFO world are running a bit short? Or perhaps it’s the beginning of conference season in the US and UK.
Documents revealing UFO sightings have been made public on an FBI official database.
The previously classified records, which contain information of extraterrestrial encounters dating back 60 years, show eye-witness accounts of flying saucers and alien life forms.
In one document, a special agent in charge of the FBI’s Washington Field Office sent a letter to the FBI’s director on 22 March 1950, claiming that an Air Force investigator recovered a spacecraft in a field near to Roswell, New Mexico.
Here we go again, as Phil dissected in an earlier post, Roswell once again raises its weary head.
It reads: “Three so-called flying saucers had been recovered in New Mexico. They were described as being circular in shape with raised centres, approximately 50 feet in diameter.”
Me thinks somebody at the feds is extracting the urine to a wee degree (pun intended)
The report, which is registered on the FBI’s online Vault library, then goes on to describe the 3ft human-like bodies of the aliens among the remains of the UFO landing.
Of course nobody has taken into the equation, that in the late 1940’s, the Association of Roswellian Small Earthlings, otherwise known as ARSE, we’re unfortunately all, (there were only 3 in the ARSE group) involved in a scrap metal wagon crash, of which has never been seen before. Scattering debris throughout the land of rancher – William “Mack” Brazel. Brazel attempted to cover up his money making scheme of weighing in said scrap, and hiding the ARSEs some distance away. Unfortunately military spotter craft witnessed the disarray at the site and upon inspection by local law enforcement, the usual community looking after each other thing occurred and lo, a dog poo UFO crash cover story was created…
According to the document, each foreign body was dressed in a fine metallic cloth and bandaged in a manner similar to the blackout suits used by speed flyers and test pilots.
Indeed well known ARSE uniform.
The information comes after the Ministry of Defence released thousands of pages of UFO material at the National Archives last month.
Speaking with Yahoo! UK News today, Nick Pope, a former UFO investigator for the British Ministry of Defence commented on the reports, saying: “These documents are extremely interesting, but it’s going to be very difficult to discover the truth after so many years. There are many questions for the FBI and the United States Air Force, but the problem is that nobody now working for these organisations will have been employed at the time of the incidents described.”
“Even if we don’t solve the mystery of UFOs and the Roswell crash, these papers show that the American government took a strong interest in the paranormal. Maybe ‘The X-Files’ is closer to the truth than people think.”
Ah, here we go, somebody giving the all important media quotations, that make perfect sense, I’m sure Nick will have lots to discuss in the media and on the lecture on these matters.
David Hardy, an official from the FBI’s Records Management Division said the declassification of secret files reflects a strong commitment to build public trust and confidence through greater public access to FBI records.
He said: “The new website significantly increases the number of available FBI files, enhances the speed at which the files can be accessed, and contains a robust search capability.”
Now people, let’s not be gullible now, just because files have been released, doesn’t make these alleged documents factual. A UK UFO colleague of mine created a series of documents related to a fabricated case in the UK, through research he was able to acquire the correct paper and ink from the time period the event was supposed to have taken place, writing in the style of the era. After aging the document he was able to pass of the document as actual too many people in the subject. Yes they weren’t experts in analysis of documents, but the experiment of hoax documents were sufficient to fool some folk.
Totally different to FBI files I know, but a quick example of how easy documents are to fake.
Let’s face it, an entire industry and a US towns economy would be completely blown to pieces if the myth of Roswell was proved to be a hoax. Many people who have made a career and large amounts of money would be exposed; those who have lied would lose a hell of a lot. So the Roswell folklore lives on, continues to raise is tired and weary little head, and keep itself in the minds of the UFO conspiracy theorists. The universe is vast, and so are the truthers carrying the legend on and on. Where is the real proof that UFO’s crashed in New Mexico. I’ve not seen any. Infact I’m sure by the time I’ve finished writing this blog, the documents will be confirmed as a hoax. But then the truthers will claim it’s another cover up… Again Again.
It’s the ARSEs I feel sorry for.

One can just as easily say this entire article is speculative. If you say to me you ate a triple chocolate ice cream cone 1 year ago today. I can not verify that. You are lying! if you say that you like movies with dogs in them. I can not verify that either, even with your dog movie collection as a verification I can say you have those to make your claims more real even though your mom knows you hate dogs and yet she is dead so nobody can ask her.
In conclusion. on behalf of both sides, I will say this. If you don’t know for yourself or haven’t seen for yourself you just do not know anything about it. Documents for both sides can be faked, testimonies can be rehearsed, Video footage and pictures can be Fabricated. In the end you as a person is all there is. and if you’re lying about your experiences then you are a waste of a human being. and if you’re lying or attacking someones claims without really knowing what they may actually have experienced then you too are a waste of a human being. The poison of the earth.
Thanks for the Comment, just to confirm, I did not eat a triple chocolate ice cream cone 1 year ago, as i’m diabetic unfortunately and I like dags, a lot, I have one. Oh and my mums alive, its my dad thats dead.
In response to your remarksd regarding fabrication, I concur, it is easily achieved, as many so called ‘experts’ in the field manufacture to sell their books and lectures, both in UFOlogy and the paranormal.
I, however, have not, nor will lie. I’ve been very lucky to have access to a lot of informationm research material and first hand accounts of hundreds of witnesses testimonies regarding all areas of the paranormal sphere. And keeping that in mind, I have been able to ascertain, from all data I have assimilated, that UFO’s in an alien craft/flying saucer guise are highly unlikely to exist. Misperceptions, Misidentifications of Astronomical, Meteorlogical, Aircraft, experimental aircraft and fire lanterns make up a 99% proportion of UFO sightings, and thats just a brief list of explanations. The other 1%, in my experience remains a UFO, that means an Unidentified Flying Object, simply as it is Unidentified.
You believe that you do not need evidence to say things exist. I do, as does any court in the world. If you do not have conclusive proof, your claims have nothing to support them. If I said I had a kebab last night, a reciept and a photo would do the trick. but then again, I could easily download a kebab image from the web. But the reciept would work just fine…
Hello there Saddlebone. My comments were hypothetical. I in no way insinuated that I need no proof of things in order to believe they exist. on the contrary I stated that proof is fabricated easily for both sides. Tell me, for the sake of this hypothetical argument how many of last years dine out receipts do you have now?
Also I am aware of the fact that U.F.O. means Unidentified flying object. Now let us pretend for a moment that I was out say last night and had a genuine E.T. experience and I happened to have my DVD recorder on me. Let’s also pretend I caught the entire amazing event on crisp DVD, my abduction, my medical exams, my star-ship adventure to Some distant galaxy via worm-hole travel. I met an alien girl and had alien sex, that’s on DVD too. all in all I spend 3 days there but since I live alone on city outskirts of an Arizona desert town and am self sufficient and self employed via internet sales, nobody notices I was gone. Yet the entire event is on DVD crisp and clean. It would be disregarded as totally fake. You know it, I know it, It is a fact. if you or anybody else saw that much detail it would be labeled fake. Too clear, to well shot , seems rehearsed, That E.T. is wearing a shirt or outfit of some kind, why did that alien girl have sex with you, your eating what looks like an ordinary orange, why do they speak English, Hey that Alien is smoking a cigar, aliens don’t eat fruit or drink coffee! It would be picked apart and no matter what even if its in one fluid shot and the experts view it in the end they would say. It’s either real or a damn good fake. In all of those F.B.I UFO documents Sure many have on them they were disregarded or the FBI no longer had interest in them yes..Given, even in big letters they wrote BOGUS on them. but log on to the site and pay close attention to the Disclaimer and it says “please note that the information found in these files may no longer reflect the current beliefs, positions, opinions,or policies held by the FBI. You say you have assimilated data but yet it is the data given to you by others. It has nothing of your own in it. If many people saw things and didn’t have a camera on them or didn’t even own one then their stories are false? there is much one can never prove in his own life. yes a receipt would do the trick but do you have one, a photo , maybe it would do the trick but it can be well shopped, video can be messed with , all kinds of tricks can be used to prove or disprove anything. even so far as to have a guy using impressive words like assimilate and data and misconception, and conclusive, which to many would make one sound very well to do or intelligent, and maybe you are, however that does not mean you are correct nor does it provide definitive proof of anything other than you have collected data backing your set objective. and yet you have said clearly that there are some of those instances you can not disprove and they are just UFO”s or unidentified and that is all they are, but wrapped in your own words is room for error in all of your previously collected data. Fault if you will. No rock solid evidence has come to light on either side of the argument. it is easy to say something doesn’t exist and say prove it, where as proving something sometimes is very difficult even when it is true enough. much of our science has proven many things that previously where absurd notions or demonic lies at one time. In conclusion I will say you have many good points I will not deny them. but you also present much speculation based on quick dismissal on found /given presentation of false accounts. Thank you for your article keep your work up. It does take good critical skeptic to find truth. If it weren’t for all of the skeptics nothing would rile anyone into motion and many discoveries would remain unknown. It is the “question” that drives us, or bread of life. to ask to wonder. Take care.
You make it sound like scepticism and discovery are poles apart. Without scepticism in any scientific research the first person you’ll be fooling is yourself. Always question things, question your eyes, question your beliefs and question your understanding of things. If you don’t know enough about a subject to make an objective judgement go and learn it, then question what your learning, be it electronics, photography, psychology, geology, neuroscience, zoology or physics. It might not give you the answers, but it’ll mean you’ve got some damn interesting questions to work on.
As for Roswell (and for any explanation of anything), the issue is proof and what constitutes proof. If I give you a pair of underpants, which I say are ‘Underpants of Power’, you’re going to want a shit load of proof before you jump off a high building expecting to fly because of them… yet for something as major as our first contact with an alien species we’re supposed to just believe.
You make a good point, Slippery Fox – there is no evidence to prove either side of the ET hypothesis…. what you seem to have brushed over is the fact that there is, generally speaking, a hell of a lot of proven fakes and hoaxes, and still no good, hard evidence of the existence of aliens visiting our little planet in any way shape or form.
Sure, you have a hell of a lot of widely accepted cases – mainly propounded by folk making money from publicity, lectures, book sales and the like – but nothing at all that would stand up in a court of law. All these widely accepted cases have been PROVED to have inconsistancies or be downright hoaxes – Travis Walton Failed the polygraph tests, witnesses swore he had been with him. The Star Child skull has been subjected to several DNA tests, and will continue to be subjected to tests until the test result matches the requirements its owner needs to verify his story, even though the tests said nothing more (so far) than that it was the remains of a Native American child, who suffered from advanced ecephalitis, in whic case the remains should be given a proper and respectful burial by its tribe. Roswell was a weather balloon which crashed to earth. Berwyn, Rendlesham… take your pick, all explained, , All ignored because it would change the widely accepted belief. A belief which, due to the consistancy of the folk peddling the bullshit to furnish their own pockets, has turned into a blind faith.
You appear to have thrown a wary eye over the content of the files yourself? so tell me.. do you not find it a little odd the majority of the documents within them are press cuttings, and not official memos? What does this tell you? that the press were over enhancing the stories? or that the FBI didnt do their job adequately?
What bites me the most is the folk who screamed for disclosure have had it all along, they just havent had the answers they want and need to keep the money coming in yet, and seem to be disregarding and screaming ‘Hoax!’ at the information now making the limelight that slaughters their goose that layed the golden eggs..
