Roswell Rip Off

There can’t be many people who look at this blog who won’t have heard of the infamous ‘Alien Autopsy’ video first aired by Fox News in the nineties. However for those who didn’t notice or were too young, a film of an alien autopsy, supposedly of Roswell Vintage was later described as a re-creation due to the condition of the original film… in other words it was a fake. Since that first film came out there have been a few more including one in a tent and now this one…
I don’t know where and when this first made the rounds, but if it is being touted as truth then why are they wearing what are Russian gas masks, probably the GP-5 civilian model, but they might be the earlier military version the M41 Aardvark. Anyway GP-5 was produced from 1970 to 1989, the M41 from the 1950’s to the 1960’s and neither would be found in an American Autopsy room in 1947. So this is just Bullshit…
So many things wrong with this video. First is the post production blowout, and film clutter added to “age” the footage. On the surgical tray, there is a £2 hacksaw from B&Q, a pair of nail scissors and a Gerber? folding multitool. I have never seen a surgeon saw with a scalpel blade before. A surgeon would peel back the head skin and lay it over the face to open the skull. During autopsy, a “Y” incision is usually made first. I have not seen them carve a fruit bowl out of the stomach, and the “alien” looks like its made of papier mache or blown foam insulation.
Is this an april fools hoax thing?
Hi Bob,
You watched more of the film than I did, I became fixated on the gas masks in the first few seconds and that was it. Once I had a date on them it bored me. It’s possibly someone’s idea of an April fool, but once again the morons out there get hold of things and it’s suddenly touted as truth.
Phil
Surely everyone knows that Ant and Dec were responsible and that they have the original footage…?
